DGA Discs

DGA was established by Ed Headrick the inventor of the modern day Frisbee and the father of disc golf in order to introduce people to the sport he founded and to help people get disc golf courses and programs into their local parks, schools, and camps. Ed Headrick coined and trademarked the term “Disc Golf” when formalizing the sport and invented the first disc golf target, the Disc Pole Hole. Since 1976, DGA equipment has met the needs of the top professionals and the most avid recreational disc golf players by providing the finest quality, the best performance, and the most choices for the sport and our customers.

The Flip & Fade perspective

DGA is one of the founding companies of modern disc golf, and they still play a major part in the game through course design and construction, disc golf equipment, professional player sponsorships, and large PDGA disc golf events. All discs in their line-up are custom designs owned by DGA, but the discs are manufactured by Discraft. The two brands have maintained a long-standing manufacturing relationship since the ’90s.
